Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles DaCoca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fatu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Freak on a Leash by Korn. Fatu Tua told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

39 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fatu Tua!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
DaCoca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tua.
DaCoca blocks a leg kick.
Tua loads up on a big right hand but DaCoca slips the punch.
Tua misses with a shot to the body
and DaCoca counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Tua down! DaCoca is looking to finish but Tua is intelligently defending himself.
DaCoca wants to control from the top but Tua keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tua is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

DaCoca pushes Tua up against the cage in a clinch.
Tua has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
DaCoca doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DaCoca moves away.
DaCoca doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
DaCoca moves out of range as Tua strikes.

DaCoca takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
DaCoca throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tua looks to land a left hand but DaCoca moved out of range nicely.
Tua stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tua scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. DaCoca doesn't seem bothered though.

Tua comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and DaCoca counters with a stiff right hand.

DaCoca ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

DaCoca walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fatu Tua dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fatu Tua decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
