The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James moves into range and clinches up with Joe.

It looks like Billy Joe has been cut.
Joe wants a takedown.

Joe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by James after a bit of a struggle.
Rick James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Joe.

Joe is trying to drag James to the mat but James just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Billy Joe's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
James pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Joe takes an elbow to the forehead.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Billy Joe's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
