The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callahan avoids the head kick by Simpson.

Callahan wants to take a breather but Simpson is having none of it.
Callahan is really struggling to control Simpson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Simpson jumps guard and drags Callahan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Simpson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Callahan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Callahan is pushing down on Simpson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Simpson is fighting to maintain full guard but Callahan has managed to sneak the leg through.
