Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyoto Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abbe Faria!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faria misses the shot to the body.
Faria swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Rua tries to clinch but Faria is having none of it.

Rua has managed to clinch.
Faria misses with some punches.
Faria is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rua is defending well for now.

Rua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Faria swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Faria works Rua's body with a nice hook.

Rua defending well as Faria loads up on a big left hand.
Faria looks to land a left hand but Rua moved out of range nicely.
Rua moves in looking to clinch but Faria pushes him off.
Faria scores with the left hand. Rua knows he should have avoided that one.
Rua tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Faria counter with a right hand.
Rua throws a right and a left that Faria avoids nicely.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Faria swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A little jabbing left from Faria on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Faria lands a glancing blow to the side of Rua's head.
Faria circles away from the clinch attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Faria! But no joy.
Rua finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Faria lands a jab.
Rua takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Faria takes a swing at Rua's ribcage but misses.
Rua throws a big counter combination but Faria scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Faria swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A punch combination from Faria misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Faria has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Faria engages and cracks Rua with a massive lead left hook - Rua tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Faria is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
