Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jed Fredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Kryatof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A head kick misses from Fredo.
Kryatof wants to clinch.
Kryatof changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fredo tries to avoid it but Kryatof manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fredo to the ground. Fredo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fredo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kryatof sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kryatof rushes Fredo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fredo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jed Fredo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kryatof feints a jab promting Fredo to slip. Kryatof then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fredo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Jed Fredo has been cut.

Kryatof really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fredo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fredo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kryatof's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fredo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kryatof shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kryatof showed some decent athleticism there.

Kryatof has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fredo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kryatof.
