Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runkputte throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Yount to counter with a crisp jab.
Yount uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Runkputte.
Yount has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yount is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Runkputte swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Runkputte takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Runkputte scores with a one two! Yount had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Yount on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Yount throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Runkputte misses with a body kick.
Runkputte throws a right and a left that Yount avoids nicely.
Yount throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Yount tests Runkputte's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yount takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Yount drops Runkputte with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Runkputte! Yount dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robin Yount!
