The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcguire works Nagasaki's body with a nice hook.
Nagasaki throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nagasaki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mcguire tries to clinch up but Nagasaki circles away and keeps his distance.
Nagasaki drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mcguire defends it well.
Nagasaki misses with a takedown
and Mcguire counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nagasaki thinking.
Mcguire looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nagasaki misses with a looping right.
Ken Nagasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcguire scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nagasaki tries a low kick but Mcguire avoids it.
Mcguire tries to clinch there but Nagasaki circles away.
Nagasaki stuns Mcguire with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcguire takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mcguire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nagasaki.
Mcguire is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Nagasaki.
Nagasaki fails to land the takedown.
Lou Mcguire is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mcguire misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nagasaki.
Nice sprawl there from Mcguire as Nagasaki shoots in.
Mcguire feinted with a counter takedown.
Lou Mcguire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Nagasaki.
Nagasaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

It looks like Lou Mcguire has been cut.
Nagasaki is stalking Mcguire. Mcguire circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Nagasaki, and it's lights out! Mcguire really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

In his post fight interview, Ken Nagasaki started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
