The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gentles moves into the clinch successfully.
Gentles can't break the clinch.
Gentles is pressed up against the cage. Gonzalez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gentles down to the mat. Gentles avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gentles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gentles throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Gentles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
