Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Demon Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Withrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Withrow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beast swivels and escapes.

Beast throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Beast shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Withrow's guard.

Withrow has his foot on Beast's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beast works his way back into a safe position though.

Withrow drops back looking for a leg! Beast is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beast manages to kick Withrow off! Withrow jumps back into Beast's guard.

Withrow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Withrow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Withrow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Beast is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Withrow, into his guard.

Withrow had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Beast is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Withrow Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Beast's back instead.

Beast looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Beast trying to control the action but Withrow just sinks the hooks in.

You can see the frustration on Beast's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Withrow is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Beast is defending well though. Withrow let's go of the attempt for now.
Beast rolls, trying to escape but Withrow keeps control of the position.

Well Beast has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
