The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nads shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holmes as he avoids it easily.
Nads tries to clinch there but Holmes circles away.

Holmes has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nads's face.
Holmes avoids the attempt from Nads to control.
Nads is trying desperately to improve position.

Holmes gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Nads has Holmes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Holmes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Holmes creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Holmes will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Nads up against the cage.

Holmes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nads.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
