Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between August Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Forger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar Forger will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, August Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Edgar Forger!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Forger.
Forger looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Graves scores with a takedown into Forger's guard.
Forger wants to get back to his feet but Graves passes into half guard.

Graves working over Forger with some ground and pound. Forger looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Graves postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Forger to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graves feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Graves is standing up over Forger. Forger looks to escape but Graves dives into side control.
Graves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Graves has hold of Forger's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Forger manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Graves cracks Forger with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Forger from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Forger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Graves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Forger is covering up but some of the strikes from Graves are getting through and doing damage.

Forger has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Graves seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Forger can turn it around.
Graves lands a good knee to the midsection. Forger won't want to take too many of those.

Graves pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Forger moves into range and clinches up with Graves.

Graves fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Forger avoids it really well and circles away.
Graves dives in for a single leg takedown but Forger sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Forger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Forger wants it to stay on the feet.

Graves tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Forger defends well and Graves ends up having to push Forger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Graves goes for a double leg but Forger avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Forger continues to drive forward.

A close second round but Edgar Forger will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Graves is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Forger to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Forger shrugs it off.

Forger reaches up to try and pull Graves in and control his posture, but Graves latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Forger taps out and this one is all over!
