The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Taylor's waist but Taylor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Taylor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Silva wants to stand up but Taylor is controlling him.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
Taylor with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Taylor manages to pass to side control.
Taylor wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.

Taylor lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Silva! More strikes land and this one is all over! Taylor jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
