Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xantos Aremis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Pen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aremis comes to the cage accompanied by Infected Mushroom - Merlin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aremis throws a chopping leg kick but Pen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pen gets tackled into the cage by Aremis. Aremis maintains the clinch.
Pen has a couple of punches blocked by Aremis.

Aremis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Aremis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

and Aremis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Pen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Aremis can't fight it off and eventually Pen manages to take the fight to the floor. Aremis looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pen looking to sit in guard and control but Aremis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Pen wants to sweep but no luck.

Pen has momentary wrist control but Aremis slips an elbow through the middle.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pen holds on and takes a little breather.
Aremis wants to control from the top but Pen keeps moving.
Our spies down at at Roosters Coop inform us that Pen has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Aremis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Aremis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Aremis is in close to Pen's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pen is trying to control the position but Aremis postures up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Aremis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Aremis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aremis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pen circles away quickly and effectively.
Pen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Aremis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pen circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pen darts in looking for a takedown but Aremis gets double underhooks and turns Pen into the cage.
An attempted straight right counter from Aremis misses the target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aremis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Aremis rushes Pen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Aremis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
