Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory MacAskill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tom Campbell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Campbell has managed to clinch.

MacAskill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Campbell dives in and grabs MacAskill's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacAskill pushes down on Campbell's head and hops out.

Campbell throws a looping overhand right but MacAskill ducks down to avoid it.
MacAskill thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Campbell if he has to take too many more of those.

Campbell throws a series of punches but MacAskill moves out of range.
Campbell is breathing heavily.

and MacAskill cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Campbell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Campbell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
MacAskill buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Campbell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from MacAskill! But no joy.

MacAskill is looking to slow Campbell down with leg kicks.
MacAskill digs a good body shot into Campbell's ribs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by MacAskill.
MacAskill throws a right and a left that Campbell avoids nicely.
MacAskill lands a right hook to the body.

Campbell takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Campbell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
MacAskill cracks the inside of Campbell's front leg.
MacAskill fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Campbell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
MacAskill fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

MacAskill wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
MacAskill scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Campbell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That kick from MacAskill tenderised Campbell's leg. Campbell is trying to keep his angry face on.

MacAskill lands a left and a right that send Campbell crashing to the mat, dazed. MacAskill thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

MacAskill moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Campbell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Campbell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Campbell leaves his chin hanging out and MacAskill seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Campbell crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
