The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson misses with a body shot.
Todd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nelson swivels and escapes.

Nelson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Todd defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nelson.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Todd sprawls well. Todd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet.

Todd closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nelson did well to prevent Todd getting side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Todd is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
