The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry lands with a good body shot.
Ramos has a takedown stuffed.
Cherry looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cherry takes the fight into the clinch.
Ramos takes a shot to the head.
Ramos pushes off an throws an elbow but Cherry leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Cherry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ramos tries to clinch but Cherry is having none of it.
Ramos doesn't manage to clinch there - Cherry circles away.
Cherry moves into range and clinches up with Ramos.
Cherry blocks an elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ramos is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Ramos seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Cherry is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Cherry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cherry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ramos gets tackled into the cage by Cherry. Cherry maintains the clinch.
Cherry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Cherry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Cherry counters with a right hand to the body.

Dmitri Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cherry keeps the fight on the outside.

and Cherry counters with a nice uppercut.
Ramos wants to clinch up but Cherry keeps it at a distance.

Ramos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cherry.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ramos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cherry swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cherry scores with a sloppy right hand. Ramos should have avoided that one.

and Cherry counters with a nice body shot.

Ramos slips a jab and a cross from Cherry.
Ramos shoots in for a takedown but Cherry shows good takedown defense.
Ramos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cherry defends well and Ramos ends up having to push Cherry into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitri Ramos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cherry catches Ramos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Cherry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cherry lands a lovely overhand right.

Ramos wants to clinch but Cherry slips to the side
and Cherry counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Cherry digs a good body shot into Ramos's ribs.
Ramos tries to close the distance and clinch but Cherry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Cherry counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ramos tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cherry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ramos is rocked!
Ramos switches off momentarily and Cherry cracks him with a monster right hand! Ramos topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Cherry dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Cherry!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mau Cherry!
Mau Cherry looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Kk' Eu poderia testar o quanto Schlemper é foda,mas eu estou afim de quebrar a cara de um coreano otário,então o campeãozinho topa me enfrentar e perder o seu Título ?'.
The defeated Dmitri Ramos had this to say: 'It was a good fight, My opponent beat me so he has my respect and i would like to see him again in the cage.'.
