Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Del Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Mabry!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mabry shoots in and gets a takedown into Kent's guard.
Kent is looking to stand back up but Mabry counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kent.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mabry in particular looking to stall.
Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mabry takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mabry should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mabry working over Kent with some ground and pound. Kent looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mabry looks to land a strike but Kent avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Kent controls Mabry momentarily but Mabry frees himself.
Kent will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kent can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mabry controls the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kent is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mabry lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kent on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Jacob Mabry is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Mabry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
