Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Micks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Micks takes the fight into the clinch.
Dawkins being controlled against the cage.
Dawkins wants to get back to striking at distance but Micks won't allow it.
Micks goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dawkins prevents it.
Dawkins effectively controlling the action here.
Dawkins tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Micks drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dawkins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dawkins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dawkins!

Dawkins misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Micks sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Dawkins is tying to control. Micks wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Micks tries to roll over but Dawkins keeps him under control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dawkins tries to clinch

and Micks counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dawkins has a hand on Micks's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Micks takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Micks has hold of Dawkins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dawkins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dawkins tries to lock up and control but Micks gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Micks with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Micks is going olschool here, as he tries to force Dawkins to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dawkins shrugs it off.

Micks lands a big shot there that rocks Dawkins but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Poor strikes thrown by Micks there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Micks goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dawkins is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Micks throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dawkins escapes and throws Micks's legs to the side, diving into side control!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Micks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dawkins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Micks backs up against the cage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dawkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dawkins wants to clinch but Micks slips to the side
and Micks counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Micks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Micks is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dawkins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dawkins has escaped and now he's on top!

Dawkins has his foot on Micks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Micks works his way back into a safe position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Micks, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
