Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girl closes the distance and pushes Reyes back into the cage.
Reyes is trying to pull guard but Girl has him pressed against the cage.
Girl jumps guard.
Girl controlling the position.
Reyes throws a big right hand that misses.
Girl looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Girl is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Girl throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Girl is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Reyes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Girl throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Reyes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Girl but Girl pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Girl is looking for the big counter here.
Girl looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Reyes!
Girl wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reyes, who protects the arm well.

You can see the frustration on Reyes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Girl stands up.
Reyes blocks a head kick by Girl.
Reyes with a poor takedown
and Girl counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morgan Reyes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Girl darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Reyes is breathing heavily.
Reyes is trying to stand up here but Girl is controlling him well.

Girl works his way into side control.
Reyes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Girl is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Girl controls the position.
Girl stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Reyes fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Horrible takedown attempt by Reyes or perhaps it was just good defense by Girl, which made it look bad.
Girl feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Reyes is wriggling around but Girl manages to pass to half guard.
Reyes is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Girl jumps into side control!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Girl has knee on belly and moves into mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jullia Girl dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Girl shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Girl was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Girl is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reyes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Reyes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Girl is controlling him well.

Jullia Girl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Girl.

Girl postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Girl decides to stand back up. Girl steps back and let's Reyes get back to his feet.
Girl drops Reyes with a naaaaasty hook - Reyes is in real trouble here! Girl dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jullia Girl!
