Doe has chosen Everyday Normal Guy - Jon Lajoie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Sasha Solzhenitsyn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Doe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A swing and a miss from Doe.
Solzhenitsyn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Solzhenitsyn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Solzhenitsyn seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Solzhenitsyn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Doe throws out the jab.
Solzhenitsyn connects with an inside leg kick.
Doe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Solzhenitsyn's sensitive parts.
Doe scores with a punch to the head.
Solzhenitsyn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Solzhenitsyn throwing a counter right hand but Doe manages to avoid it.
Doe looks to throw the jab but Solzhenitsyn is out of range.
Doe misses with a body punch
and Solzhenitsyn counters with a right hand to the body.
Doe avoids the head kick by Solzhenitsyn.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Solzhenitsyn scores with a nice strike.
Solzhenitsyn needs to keep his hands up - Doe had a free shot at his head there.
Doe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Solzhenitsyn looks to land a body kick but Doe moved away.
Doe lands a nice shot that snaps Solzhenitsyn's head back.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doe checks a leg kick.
Solzhenitsyn dodges the punch combination from Doe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Doe. Solzhenitsyn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Solzhenitsyn thinks about countering with a body kick.
Solzhenitsyn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A big right from Doe misses.
Solzhenitsyn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Doe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Solzhenitsyn scrambles back to his feet.
Doe works the jab nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doe checks a low kick from Solzhenitsyn.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Doe! But no joy.
Doe bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


Solzhenitsyn is rocked!

Doe scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Solzhenitsyn to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Oh Solzhenitsyn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doe takes one to the chin there.
Doe tries to clinch but Solzhenitsyn moves out of range.
Solzhenitsyn was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Doe lands a glancing blow to the side of Solzhenitsyn's head.
Doe checks the leg kick.
Doe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Doe misses the target.
Solzhenitsyn throws a counter high kick but Doe was just alert enough to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Doe closes the distance and catches Solzhenitsyn with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Solzhenitsyn is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Solzhenitsyn is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Solzhenitsyn is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Doe takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). John Doe!
An out of breath John Doe thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
