PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lester Kentmiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassius Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lee's choice of entrance music: Living in America. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cassius Lee!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kentmiller scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The crowd cheers as Kentmiller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lee doesn't seem phased though.
Lee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Kentmiller moves into range and clinches up with Lee.
Lee tries to break the clinch but Kentmiller is controlling the position.
Kentmiller is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kentmiller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kentmiller was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kentmiller. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
As Kentmiller backs off Lee throws a huge counter combo but Kentmiller manages to avoid it all.

Kentmiller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kentmiller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kentmiller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lee is trying to break the clinch but Kentmiller is controlling him.

Kentmiller has picked Lee up - he's going for a ride! Kentmiller dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Lee has one foot on Kentmiller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kentmiller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
