The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz scores with a nice strike.

Diaz appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Diaz throws a good cross that connects.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diaz is working an open guard so Jackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Jackson has hold of Diaz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Diaz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It looked like Diaz was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Diaz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Diaz somewhat.

A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Diaz is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Jackson!
