Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evil Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nixon tries to clinch up but Daniel circles away and keeps his distance.
Thomas Daniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nixon slips under a jab from Daniel.
Nixon throws a leg kick
and Daniel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Some bone on bone action there as Daniel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
An attempted straight right counter from Daniel misses the target.
Daniel shoots in looking for a takedown but Nixon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daniel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nixon throws a shot from downtown. Daniel moves away and avoids it.

Nixon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Daniel to counter with a crisp jab.
Daniel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nixon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Daniel lands a nice shot that snaps Nixon's head back.
Nixon sizes up Daniel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Daniel swings for the body but Nixon moves out of range.
Daniel misses with an uppercut.
Nixon connects with a single shot there.
Daniel is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Daniel misses with a hook. Nixon ducked under it nicely.
Nixon lands with a nice body kick.
Nixon looks to land a combination but Daniel avoids it well.
Daniel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nixon manages to avoid it.
Nixon throws a quick inside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Daniel shoots in and drives through. Nixon sprawls well.

Nixon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nixon throws a solid leg kick but Daniel takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nixon.

Nixon ducks right into an uppercut from Daniel.
Daniel walks into a stiff left hand from Nixon.
Daniel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nixon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nixon darts in and clinches Daniel up against the cage.

Nixon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Daniel backwards.
Nixon tries to work over Daniel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Daniel blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Daniel is breathing heavily.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Daniel is rocked!
Daniel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Nixon is keeping busy.
Oh Daniel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nixon throws a punch but it's blocked by Daniel.
Daniel seems to have got his legs back now.

Nixon pushes Daniel against the cage. Nixon is working some dirty boxing. Nixon pushes off with a quick right hook! Daniel goes down! Daniel tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Nixon moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

After winning the bout, Evil Nixon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
