Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwain Brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Sampson!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sampson.
Brewer misses with a wild combination.
Sampson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sampson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brewer is trying to defend but Sampson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Brewer kicks Sampson off and gets back to his feet.
Brewer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A combination from Brewer does no damage.
Sloppy strikes from Brewer. Those never looked like landing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brewer shoots in for a takedown but Sampson shows good takedown defense.

Sampson dives in and scores a takedown into Brewer's guard.

Brewer kicks Sampson off and gets to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brewer swings widly with a right hand
and Sampson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brewer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sampson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sampson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brewer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sampson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Brewer is trying to get back to half guard.
Brewer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sampson trying to control the action but Brewer is working from the bottom.
Brewer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sampson on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sampson lands a nice forearm strike.

Sampson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Brewer is trying to escape and Sampson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Brewer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sampson! Very nice indeed!
