The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Turpin feints and then cracks Pei's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pei down.
Turpin defending well as Pei loads up on a big left hand.
Pei swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Turpin throws a body shot but no joy.
Pei throws a push kick but Turpin slaps the foot to one side.
Pei throws a sloppy head kick and Turpin moves out of range easily.
Turpin lands a slapping body shot.
Turpin digs a good hook to Pei's body.
Randolph Turpin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turpin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pei. That did some damage!

Pei is breathing heavily.
Turpin throws a nice looking combination but Pei bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Turpin throws a front kick that sends Pei stumbling back into the cage.

Pei drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Turpin is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pei rather than just go for the knockout.

Pei is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Turpin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pei manages to avoid it.
Pei was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Turpin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Turpin.
Pei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turpin.
Pei takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Turpin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A shot to the liver by Turpin. Beautiful body shot.
Turpin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pei stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Turpin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Turpin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pei on the side of the head.

Turpin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Turpin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Turpin drops Pei with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pei looks back up at him and smiles so Turpin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Look low, kick high! Turpin uses the oldest trick in the book to send Pei tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Turpin is absolutely delighted - when Pei wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
