The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilfiger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ljotic with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hilfiger to score with a decent uppercut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ljotic is defended easily by Hilfiger.

and Hilfiger counters with a three punch combo that has Ljotic backing up. Ljotic nods at Hilfiger to acknowledge the strikes.
Ljotic has been working on his balance at Rabid Dog, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Hilfiger.

Hilfiger cracks Ljotic with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ljotic tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hilfiger pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ljotic is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A relieved looking Ronny Hilfiger thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
