Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic comes to the ring accompanied by Wild boys. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Filipovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Grace!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Grace is looking for the big counter here.
Grace's coach down at Palace of Pain Gym - VCL - Rio was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Grace's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mirko Filipovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grace blocks a head kick by Filipovic.
Filipovic throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Filipovic connects with a high kick.
Filipovic throws a head kick that half lands.
Filipovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Filipovic throws an overhand right that lands on Grace's shoulder, as Grace tries to avoid the shot.
Filipovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Filipovic with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Filipovic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Grace.
Grace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Filipovic defends it nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grace crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Filipovic - the referee stops the clock and Grace gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Filipovic. Grace manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Filipovic lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Filipovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Grace swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grace.
Mirko Filipovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Grace.
Filipovic misses with a double jab.
A nice side step and Grace releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Filipovic misses with a low kick.
Grace throws out a counter right but Filipovic avoids it with no problem.

Grace drives through with a takedown into Filipovic's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Filipovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grace on the ground.

Grace drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Grace seems to have locked his on tight now - Filipovic screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Grace, as he picks up the win!

An out of breath Miguel Grace thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Mirko Filipovic stepped up to the mic, saying 'I just didn't follow the gameplan right. I'm better than this and I'll be back on top soon'.
