The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa shoots for a takedown but Reyes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Costa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Costa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reyes.
Costa shoots in looking for a takedown. Reyes tries to sprawl out of it but Costa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reyes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Costa swats away the attempt to clinch by Reyes.
Costa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Costa moves away.
Reyes throws a head kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Reyes, right into the meat.
Nice takedown defense from Reyes. No joy for Costa on that attempt.
Paulo Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Costa.
Costa looks gassed!
Reyes throws a body punch but Costa moves out of range.
Costa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Reyes drops Costa with a big left hand and mounts him. Costa is in big trouble!

It looks like Douglas Costa has been cut.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Reyes! Costa is hurt baaadly! Reyes is firing away with more strikes - Costa is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
