The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavelic closes the distance and clinches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pavelic has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Boy to the canvas! Can Boy beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's going to allow it to continue!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pavelic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boy's calf.
Oh Boy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pavelic has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boy is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pavelic plants his feet and throws a devastating head kick! It connects square on Boy's ear and has knocked him out cold! No need for a count here as the referee immediately tends to a stricken Boy, crumpled in the corner! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ante Pavelic!
