Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Masterclass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabre Tooth!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tooth shoots in but Masterclass avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little feinted left hand from Masterclass on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tooth fails with the takedown.
Tooth closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Masterclass quickly recovers to half guard.
Tooth wants to take a breather but Masterclass is having none of it.
Tooth lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Masterclass wants to control but Tooth is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tooth throwing shots but Masterclass is blocking nicely.
Tooth uses his free foot to push down on Masterclass's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Masterclass.

Tooth misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Tooth lands a heavy elbow.

Masterclass is bucking up trying to escape but Tooth cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Tooth is landing with some decent strikes but Masterclass is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tooth postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Masterclass looks a forlorn figure.

Tooth pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Masterclass is rocked!

Masterclass takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Tooth's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Sabre Tooth tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
