The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson darts in and clinches Ward up against the cage.
Ward tries to pull guard but Anderson holds him up against the cage and eventually Ward drops back down to his feet.
Anderson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ward lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Ward drags the fight down to the ground.

Ward looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Anderson controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson is continuing to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ward is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Anderson has his hands clasped together but Ward extends and breaks Anderson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ward.
