The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that David C. Marvin will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Maverick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marvin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marvin's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Maverick is holding on here and Marvin must be using up a lot of energy. Maverick has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Marvin gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
