Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Charleston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies comes into the arena with Condemned 84 - Face the agression blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charleston tries to clinch there but Mies circles away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Charleston.
Mies tries to improve position but can't.
Mies striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Mies has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mies is looking for a sweep.
Mies takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mies tries to improve position but can't.
Charleston in side control lands a decent elbow.
Charleston decides to stand back up.
Mies closes the distance and pushes Charleston back into the cage.
Mies has clasped his hands together around Charleston's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mies goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Charleston rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mies's guard! Nice work there by Charleston!

Charleston trying to control the position from guard on top but Mies is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Charleston throws a big elbow that misses.
Mies preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Charleston with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Charleston stands up over Mies, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Charleston postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mies had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Charleston defends it easily.
Charleston is sitting in close to Mies's body. Mies has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Charleston is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Charleston is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mies.
