Trew rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Trew takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Archie Trew has been cut.
Maulovski takes a swing at Trew's ribcage but misses.
Trew looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trew throws a right hand that Maulovski ducks under and follows up with a left that Maulovski also avoids with ease.

Trew shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Maulovski defends it nicely.
Trew throws a shot from downtown. Maulovski moves away and avoids it.

Sloppy strikes from Maulovski. Those never looked like landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trew shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maulovski as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Archie Trew. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Maulovski drops Trew with a beautiful combination! Trew stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maulovski is looking for the KO!
Trew has a takedown stuffed.
Trew looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Trew switches off momentarily and Maulovski cracks him with a monster right hand! Trew topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Maulovski dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Maulovski!

Yuri Maulovski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
