Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roosevelt Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hunt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hunt.
Hunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coleman moves away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hunt. That's going to slow Coleman down.
Coleman is looking to land body kicks.
Hunt misses with a leg kick

and Coleman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hunt!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Coleman working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Coleman in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Hunt is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Coleman is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hunt has hold of Coleman's hands but Coleman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Coleman is controlling the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Coleman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coleman prevents Hunt from improving his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coleman lands a nice short elbow.
Coleman stalling away here and it's allowed Hunt to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Hunt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like Matt Hunt has been cut.
Hunt keeping moving, preventing Coleman from controlling successfully.

Hunt looking for a guillotine here but Coleman defends easily.

Hunt throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Coleman escapes and throws Hunt's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Coleman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hunt keeps working.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Hunt is looking to regain half guard here but Coleman keeps moving and retains side control.

Coleman is trying to get an arm triangle but Hunt is defending well.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matt Hunt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Roosevelt Coleman!
A very excited looking Roosevelt Coleman made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
