The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Brook throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Barnes.
Barnes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Brook fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Barnes tries to break the clinch but Brook is controlling the position.
Brook lands a nice shot to the body.
Barnes wants to get back to striking at distance but Brook won't allow it.
Brook misses with the head strike.
Barnes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brook moves out of range of the body kick.
A leg kick checked by Barnes.
Barnes clinches up with Brook and pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Barnes's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brook has Barnes pressed against the cage, preventing Barnes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Brook struggles to land a body shot inside as Barnes controls his hands.
Brook stalling in the clinch but Barnes improves position.

Barnes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barnes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A jab from Brook finds it's way through Barnes's defenses.

Barnes tries to move into range but Brook moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Barnes clinches with his opponent.
Brook prevents Barnes from breaking the clinch.
Brook has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Barnes is breathing heavily.
Barnes will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Brook up against the cage.

Brook lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Barnes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brook to keep the fight standing.

Brook lands a big right hand that drops Barnes! The killer instinct kicks in and Brook finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Brook!
