Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen I Want to Conquer the World by Bad Religion as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Thor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thor stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Thor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Thor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Thor works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jackson wants to control but Thor is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Thor stalling.
Thor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but Thor has control of the leg.
Jackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Thor trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thor is pushing down on Jackson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but Thor has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thor is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jackson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Damien Thor!
