Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Peebles Humphrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Ballinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Humphrey comes to the ring accompanied by Stand Up - Flobots. Ballinger has chosen When The Man Comes Around - Johnny Cash as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Ballinger!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballinger avoids the head kick by Humphrey.
Ballinger was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

It looks like Peebles Humphrey has been cut.
Ballinger misses with a hook. Humphrey ducked under it nicely.
Ryan Ballinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ballinger takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ballinger throws out a loose jab but Humphrey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ballinger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ballinger lands a front kick.
Ballinger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Humphrey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Humphrey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Humphrey tries a head kick but it misses.
Ballinger catches Humphrey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ballinger misses with a hook. Humphrey ducked under it nicely.
Ballinger lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ballinger pushes Humphrey up against the ropes in a clinch.

Humphrey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ballinger connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Humphrey's hands.
Ballinger misses with a series of wild punches.

Humphrey slips under a jab.
Humphrey moves out of range of the body kick from Ballinger.
Humphrey throws a big counter combination but Ballinger scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ballinger. Humphrey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Humphrey throws a lazy right hand but Ballinger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Humphrey closes the distance and clinches.
Ballinger lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ballinger throws a punch but it's blocked by Humphrey.
Humphrey blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Humphrey blocks an uppercut.
Humphrey blocks a body shot from Ballinger.
Still in the clinch, Ballinger scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ballinger wants to stall.
Ballinger swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Humphrey can't break the clinch.
Ballinger tries to stall but Humphrey uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Humphrey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ballinger scores with a jab to the head.
Ballinger connects with a crisp jab.

Ballinger throws out a head kick that Humphrey doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Humphrey crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Humphrey's eyes and has decided to let it go on!


Humphrey is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ballinger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Humphrey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Humphrey avoids a kick to the body.
Humphrey seems to have got his legs back now.
Ballinger connects with a right hand. Humphrey shakes it off.

Humphrey ducks into a a hook from Ballinger and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!


Peebles Humphrey's cut is getting worse.
Ballinger ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Humphrey out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Ballinger!
Ryan Ballinger decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
