Da Silva lands with a nice body punch.

and Da Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rios is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Rios closes the distance looking to clinch

and Da Silva counters with a crisp one two that drops Rios! Da Silva thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rios to his feet! Rios is in big trouble!

Rios is rocked!
Rios walks straight into a right hand from Da Silva - that's dropped him! Da Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rios from any more punishment! Rios complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
