The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahlberg misses with the combination.
weirdos throws a hook but Ahlberg blocks it.
Ahlberg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
weirdos instigates a clinch.
weirdos breaks the clinch.
weirdos slips a jab and a cross from Ahlberg.
Some wild striking there from Ahlberg.
Ahlberg tries to bum rush weirdos with a series of wild strikes but weirdos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
weirdos clinches up with Ahlberg and pushes him back against the cage.
weirdos gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
weirdos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ahlberg is proving hard to escape from.
weirdos drops back looking for a leg! Ahlberg is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ahlberg manages to kick weirdos off! weirdos jumps back into Ahlberg's guard.
Ahlberg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. weirdos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ahlberg is looking to sinch up a triangle. weirdos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ahlberg's body to avoid the submission. Ahlberg has instead reached around weirdos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ahlberg arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
