Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nelson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nelson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Hak gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nelson wants to break free but Hak has control.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hak.
Hak tries a body shot but Nelson blocks it.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nelson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nelson throws a right hand that Hak ducks under and follows up with a left that Hak also avoids with ease.
Hak throws a head kick that misses.
Hak misses the shot to the body.
Hak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nice body kick from Hak.
Nelson drops his hands momentarily and Hak takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nelson misses with a wild combination.
Nelson with a hook.
Hak scores with a kick to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut.

Nelson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hak. That one must have hurt.
Nelson throws a jab but it's blocked by Hak.
Hak throws a sloppy head kick and Nelson moves out of range easily.
Nelson blocks a head kick by Hak.
Hak explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Nelson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hak sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hak buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nelson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nelson keeps the fight on the outside.
Nelson throws a hook to the side of Hak's head but Hak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hak looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hak throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Hak has Nelson up against the cage in a clinch.
Nelson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hak takes a shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hak makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hak throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nelsons head.
A bit of stalling here from Nelson.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hak gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Hak has a couple of punches blocked by Nelson.
Hak can't find room to land a body shot as Nelson controls the action.
Hak is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hak lands with a left to the head.
Nelson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hak displaying some good clinch control by pressing Nelson up against the cage.
Hak misses with a hook from the clinch.

Hak tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Nelson manages to break the clinch.
Hak misses with a head kick.
Hak throws a leg kick which misses Nelson's front leg but catches the back leg as Nelson tries to avoid it.
Hak explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
A jab from Nelson finds it's way through Hak's defenses.
To Hak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nelson misses with an uppercut.
Hak throws a leg kick but Nelson checks it.
Hak with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nelson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hak dodges the punch combination from Nelson.
Nelson lands with a right hand.
Nelson connects with a body shot.
Nelson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Nelson manages to break the clinch.
Nelson avoids the head kick by Hak.
A telegraphed right hand from Nelson misses the target.
Nelson throws a monster overhand right that drops Hak! Nelson follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
