Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonqw Fray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Henley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonqw Fray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Henley!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fray is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fray misses with a low kick.
Nice defenses there by Henley.

Fray drives through with a takedown into guard.

Henley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fray defends well.
Fray postures up and lands a big shot to Henley's brow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fray throws a big right hand that misses.

Henley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fray gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Henley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fray has managed to get both his arms back between Henley's legs - danger averted.
Fray loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Henley pulls Fray in close to prevent any damage.
Henley tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Henley is looking for a triangle but Fray pushes his legs off easily.

Fray lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Henley keeping moving, preventing Fray from controlling successfully.
Henley seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Fray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Henley wants to sweep here but Fray controlling him for the moment.

Henley lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

Henley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fray gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fray postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Henley has his foot on Fray's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fray works his way back into a safe position though.
Fray is looking to work some ground and pound but Henley has wrist control.

Henley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fray defends it easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Henley gets caught flat footed, as Fray shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fray distracts Henley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jonqw Fray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Henley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Henley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fray stacks Henley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fray!
Henley throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Henley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fray off and has taken his back!
My spies in Gorilla Warfare MMA inform me that Henley has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Fray wants to control his opponent's hands but Henley gets his hands free.

Henley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Henley looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Henley is trying to control. Fray wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've been hearing good reports from Fray's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fray moves into full guard.

Henley stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Fray throws up his legs and catches Henley in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Henley tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Fray! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jonqw Fray!
Post fight, an emotional Jonqw Fray said 'You were saying Mon Ami.'.
