Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Martins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Martins tries to bum rush Luiz with a series of wild strikes but Luiz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Luiz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Martins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Luiz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Jordan Martins has been cut.
Luiz cracks Martins with a right hand to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Martins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Luiz is trying to defend but Martins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Martins stops Luiz from standing up.
Martins wants to control from the top but Luiz keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Luiz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luiz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It appears Martins was looking to counter with a kick there.
Luiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Martins but Martins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Martins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Luiz tries to get to full guard but Martins has control of the leg.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Martins is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Luiz tries to clinch but Martins moves out of range.
Luiz misses with a double jab.
Luiz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Thiago Luiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martins looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Luiz working for a triangle but Martins defends it easily.
Luiz is looking to cinch up a triangle. Martins throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Luiz's body to avoid the submission. Luiz has instead reached around Martins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Luiz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
