Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dumaham Bijan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Tatli!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tatli scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Tatli seems to be looking for submissions.

Bijan pushes Tatli off and gets back to his feet.
Bijan closes the distance and clinches up with Tatli, looking for a takedown. Bijan pushes Tatli against the cage but Tatli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tatli throws a sloppy head kick and Bijan moves out of range easily.

Bijan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tatli pulls guard effortlessly.
Tatli pulls Bijan in close to his closed guard and prevents Bijan from doing any damage or advancing position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bijan has momentary wrist control but Tatli slips an elbow through the middle.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Tatli decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bijan, up you get!
Bijan doesn't manage to clinch there - Tatli circles away.
Bijan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tatli as he jumps to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Tatli dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Bijan tries to close the distance and clinch but Tatli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bijan shoots in but no luck this time.
Bijan shoots for a takedown but Tatli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tatli has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tatli stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tatli wants it to stay on the feet.

Bijan dives in and grabs Tatli's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tatli pushes down on Bijan's head and hops out.

Tatli moves into the clinch.
Bijan has Tatli pressed against the cage, preventing Tatli from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tatli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tatli tries to keep at a distance but Bijan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tatli is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Tatli closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bijan has hold of Tatli's hands but Tatli slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Tatli is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bijan with him. Bijan is trying to defend but Tatli has an arm under the chin now! Bijan grimaces and is forced to tap out!
