Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Freitag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ki Xang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freitag comes into the arena with Limp Bizkit - Break stuff blaring out of the sound system. Xang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pschosocial-Slipknot. Mike Freitag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freitag takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Mike Freitag has been cut.
Xang scores with a push kick.
Xang has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Freitag is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Xang slips a jab from Freitag.
Xang wants to counter with a clinch but Freitag pushes him away.
Freitag slaps away a takedown attempt from Xang, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xang is trying to control the position but Freitag postures up.

Xang is still in real trouble! Can Freitag finish him?
Xang wants to get back to his feet.
Freitag lands a big elbow - Xang is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Freitag!

In his post fight interview, Mike Freitag started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Ki Xang had this to say: '"Wonder how much he paid the ref."'.
