Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drotski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drotski showed some decent athleticism there.
Santos has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Drotski is on him like a limpet, forcing Santos back against the cage.
Drotski is fighting off a takedown attempt but Santos is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Drotski to the mat. Drotski regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Santos lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Drotski is looking to cinch up a triangle. Santos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Drotski's body to avoid the submission. Drotski has instead reached around Santos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Drotski arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Julian Drotski!
