The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldren throws a right hand that Pinezka ducks under and follows up with a left that Pinezka also avoids with ease.
Pinezka swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Pinezka rushes Aldren and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Aldren keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pinezka's efforts to push away.

It looks like Artur Pinezka has been cut.

Aldren jumps guard and drags Pinezka to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
