PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Munoz tries to avoid it but Walker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Munoz to the ground. Munoz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Walker fails with a takedown attempt.

Munoz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Munoz trying to control from half guard but Walker is working away.
Walker has hold of Munoz's hands but Munoz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Munoz is keen to just control but Walker is a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Munoz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Walker tries to roll over but Munoz keeps him under control.

Munoz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Munoz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Walker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Munoz lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Walker! More strikes land and this one is all over! Munoz jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
