Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mepral Concor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett doesn't manage to clinch there - Concor circles away.
Concor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bennett defends well and Concor ends up having to push Bennett into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Concor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bennett is fending him off so far but Concor persists. Nope, Bennett circles away and we're back to standing.
Concor shoots in looking for a takedown. Bennett tries to sprawl out of it but Concor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bennett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ryan Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mepral Concor.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Concor is pulling down on Bennett's head. It's preventing any offense from Bennett, at least for the moment.
Concor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bennett's guard.

Concor looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
