Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rey Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Owens wants to stand and escape but Hardy is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hardy is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Owens presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Hardy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

And Owens counters with a quick kick to the body but Hardy blocks it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hardy enables Owens to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hardy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Owens gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Owens feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
